This page provides pricing information for the goods and services offered by Cullen Funerals, in accordance with the Queensland Fair Trading (Funeral Pricing) Regulation 2022 (Qld).
All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Least Expensive Cremation Option
This section outlines the lowest cost cremation option offered by Cullen Funerals, in accordance with Queensland Fair Trading requirements.
Online Direct Cremation Package
All charges are based on a service at Eco Memorial Park. This package is for a no service, no attendance cremation.

This is the least expensive cremation option offered.
Goods & Services Pricing
The sections below list individual goods and services that may be selected. A full itemised quote will be provided before any agreement is entered into.
Professional Fees
Fees relating to the arrangement and conduct of funeral services.

Professional services for arranging and managing a cremation with no service or attendance. All arrangements are completed online, with no in-person meetings.

Professional services for a direct cremation with additional coordination and support for families requiring more guidance. This may include a viewing and in person arrangement.

Professional services for arranging and conducting a single funeral or memorial service of up to 60 minutes.

Professional services for arranging and conducting a single funeral or memorial service exceeding 60 minutes, but not more than 120 minutes.

Professional services for arranging and conducting two services held at the same venue/location, such as a service followed by a graveside committal.

Professional services for arranging and conducting two services held at different venues, including coordination across both locations. Services are generally held consecutively—for example, a church funeral service followed by burial at a cemetery.
Transportation
Collection of the deceased from the place of death and transport into our care, including transport to the funeral service or cremation venue. After hours transfer surcharges apply to each instance where a transfer is required outside standard business hours.

Additional weekly accommodation of the deceased beyond the initial accommodation period.

Essential mortuary care required for a direct cremation with no service or attendance. This level of mortuary care is not suitable or available for funerals with a viewing or service.

Standard mortuary care required for funeral services involving viewing or attendance. This service involves washing, dressing and light makeup and hair for your deceased loved one.

Temporary preservation measures to delay deterioration prior to burial or cremation.

Certified embalming carried out by a qualified embalmer.

Cremation & Cemetery Services
Cremation Fees & Cemetery Interment fees charged by the Crematorium/Cemetery. Indicative prices below are based on Cenenary Memorial Gardens. Pricing will vary from location to location, a formal quote can be provided on request.

Cremation conducted without a funeral or memorial service at Centenary Memorial Gardens.

Cremation conducted with a chapel service of up to 45 minutes at Centenary Memorial Gardens.

Cemetery interment fee for burials conducted Monday to Friday at Centenary Memorial Gardens.
Legal Documentation
Certificates and permits required by law, including government fees where applicable.

Official death certificate issued by the Queensland Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.

Medical certificate completed by a doctor stating the medical cause of death. In QLD, this is generally completed by your loved one’s treating doctor. In QLD, doctors cannot charge for issuing this certificate.

Permit required by law prior to cremation being carried out. This permit is completed by an independant doctor prior to cremation.

Certificate issued by the crematorium where applicable. In QLD, this is not applicable. Contact us for clarification if required.
Viewing
Viewing options for families prior to burial or cremation. Please note, standard mortuary care is required for all viewings and funerals services other than a direct cremation.

Viewing of the deceased for up to 60 minutes during standard business hours at our care facility located in Stapylton. External venues will incur additional charges for transport and venue hire.

Additional viewing time charged per hour increment during business hours at our care facility in Stapylton.

Additional charge for viewings conducted outside standard business hours. Applicable to all venues and locations.

Transportation of the deceased to an off-site viewing location within 70km of our care facility.

Hire of an external venue for viewing, charged by the venue provider.

Optional goods and services that may be arranged at the request of the family.

Fees charged by a clergy member or celebrant for officiating a service.

Placement of a death or funeral notice in a newspaper publication.

Vehicle provided for immediate family members on the day of the service.

Floral arrangements placed on or near the coffin or casket.

Creation and presentation of a photographic or visual slideshow.

Funeral Service livestreaming is provided at many established venues free of charge. If this free service is not available, livestreaming will be charged at cost price as charged by the supplier.
Important Information
Mortuary services
Mortuary services are provided by Home Mortuary Support Services at Stapylton.
Transport of the deceased
The deceased is collected from the place of death using a private funeral vehicle and transported into our care. Transport to the funeral service or cremation venue is provided as arranged. A hearse is available where selected by the family and charged separately.
Cremation services
Unless otherwise specified, unattended cremation services are conducted at Eco Memorial Park, Stapylton. Cremation services conducted at alternate venues may attract additional fees.
Disbursements
Some costs are paid to third parties, such as crematoriums, cemeteries, or government agencies. These charges are outside our control and may change without notice.
Packages and selections
Package prices include only the goods and services listed. Additional goods or services may be selected at an additional cost.
Choice of services
Families may choose from the goods and services offered. Certain professional services and fees are required to arrange and carry out a funeral, burial, or cremation. Optional goods and services may be selected in addition to these required items.
